The Homepage Was a Bulletin Board
Announcements. News feeds. Events. No recruitment content. We rebuilt it around one question: what does a prospective student need to see first?
One University, Two Identities
ODU acquired Eastern Virginia Medical School. EVMS wanted their own subdomain and identity. ODU wanted conformance. We designed the middle ground — expanded components for everyone, a pre-footer unique to EVMS pages.

Online students ask three things: What can I study? What will it cost? How do I apply? The old ODU Global site made all three hard. We organized everything around those questions.
Good Work Compounds
Rebecka was a mid-level stakeholder on the 2021 main site. She was put in charge of ODU Global and brought us with her. Global succeeded. She was promoted back to lead the main site and brought us again. That's not luck. That's what happens when you design the relationship as carefully as the interface.
